CATL Secures Major Battery Technology Supply Agreement for Mexican Solar Project

On 3 November, CATL announced that it would supply a 313 MW / 1,639.45 MWh battery-storage system for the La Alegría Solar project in Campeche. The system is expected to become Mexico’s largest battery-storage installation by energy capacity, although the supply contract value was not disclosed. HPC can support technology assessments, energy-storage research and digital infrastructure strategy.
