Albania Proposes ALL 87.2 Billion for Healthcare in 2027

On 2 November, Albania’s draft budget proposed ALL 87.2 billion (approximately €900 million) for healthcare, including funding for medicines, medical equipment and plans to construct or renovate 20 hospitals. An additional ALL 1 billion is proposed for medicines and equipment, while individual hospital project costs were not disclosed.
